Please join us for a playground picnic following Kindergarten orientation. Pack a lunch for yourself and your incoming kindergartener and meet other students and families on the blacktop/playground behind the school. This is a great opportunity to make connections with other Spring Brook families before the start of school.
PTA representatives will be on hand with information about the upcoming school year and will have bubbles and ice pops to pass out to our newest Huskies!

The Annual Spring Brook PTA Ice Cream Social will immediately follow Meet & Greet on Thursday, August 14, 2025. We will gather together on the blacktop/playground behind the school. Ice Cream Novelties/Popsicles, popcorn and water will be distributed to all students. Students are welcome to play on the playground and families are encouraged to attend to kick off the start of the 2025-2026 together as a community.

October 6-10, 2025
Spring Brook will be observing National Bullying Awareness Month with a week of activities designed to raise awareness of the negative effects of bullying and encourage students to stand up against offenders. The week will kickoff on Monday, October 6 with the Pro-Kids Show, a character-building assembly presented by Tim Hannig.
Tim Hannig’s Pro-Kids Show connects with kids through his award-winning magic, comedy, music, puppets & audience involvement. Tim performs in multiple schools per week, but he’s also performed for Six Flags Theme Parks, The Country Music Association, and twice at The White House.

Keller's Farmstand in Oswego is generously donating a portion of their proceeds from all attending Spring Brook families over the long weekend. Enjoy apple picking, hayrides, and fall fun festivities while benefiting our school!
Flyer with details will be sent home with students in September.

Spring Brook Elementary is proud of the Veterans in our school community. All students are welcome and encouraged to invite the Veterans in their families to join together for this inspiring annual breakfast and assembly. Additional information will be sent home with students in October.

All students in Kindergarten, First and Second Grade are invited to attend this special night organized by the LMC. Author and time to be announced in the fall.
December 5, 2025
This year's Around the World Multicultural Day will take place during the school day. Students in all grade levels will spend a portion of their day being immersed into the new traditions, customs, songs, dances and games from different cultures.
Please contact Brea Khalid if you are interested in sharing your family's culture at this year's event.
Volunteer opportunities for parents to assist for 50 minute shifts by grade level will be posted in November.
January 8, 2026 6pm - 8pm
Our annual Bingo for Books fundraising night is one not to be missed! All students and their families are welcome to attend. Every student who participates is guaranteed to take home a book. Bingo cards, snacks, water, and raffle tickets for exciting prizes will be available for purchase at the event.
We are currently collecting K-5 level books. Contact Jacqueline Baird to coordinate drop off.

We cannot do this event without volunteer support. We are in need of concessions help, book table fillers, bingo winner runners, set up and clean up volunteers. Positions will be posted in December.

Mark your calendars and book your babysitters! The Spring Brook Adult Social is an adults-only night of fun, offering the opportunity to support the efforts of the PTA while meeting other parents and enjoying each other's company. The evening will feature live music, hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar,, wine pull, and a fantastic silent auction.
If you are interested in sponsoring this event, helping collect auction items, or have items to donate to the auction, please contact us.
Tickets will go on sale in January.

The Spring Brook Elementary PTA is proud to support the American Heart Association each year by participating in the Kids Heart Challenge. Information will be sent home for students to raise funds in support of the American Heart Association's mission. In appreciation, students can earn exciting prizes. The fundraising efforts will culminate in a a fun-filled day of heart-healthy activity at Spring Brook. Every grade level will visit the gym on February 13 to get active and have fun.
Parents interested in helping to facilitate the fun can sign up in January to volunteer.

Mark your calendar's for Spring Brook's annual STEM Night & Science Fair. All Spring Brook students and their families are welcome to attend. Information packets will be sent home in the spring for interested students to sign up for the Science Fair.
Volunteer shifts will be posted in February for parents & teens interested in helping facilitate the fun.
April 25, 2025 5:00pm - 8:00 pm
It's Spring Brook's biggest night of the year and you'll want to be there! Our entire Spring Brook community comes together for this epic event, featuring bounce houses, a cake walk, food, games, prizes, amazing raffle baskets, balloon artists, face painting, food, drinks, and an exclusive 5th-grade-only glow party.
Wristbands and tickets will go on sale in March. We look forward to announcing our 2026 theme in the spring. Room parents will begin collecting raffle basket items in March as well.
